Last Night Was Like Watching Your Old Dog Shit On The Rug, Knowing It Was Probably Time To Let Him Go
I know we tend to hyperbolize from time to time on Barstool Sports, but this isn’t a hyperbole, last night’s Bulls game was one of the all time worst games to watch. Not saying it was painful or a bad loss, I’m just saying, seeing that team play last night in front of a strangely subdued crowd was absolutely brutal to watch. The Bulls scored their lowest total in postseason franchise history. Their first 3 quarters were 15, 18, and 9 points. NINE. They shot 25.7 percent from the floor. Nate Robinson went 0-12 from the field and had zero points. It was all in all one of the worst performances I have ever seen a team have. Totally out of gas. Completely outgunned. It was like watching your old sad dog take a shit on the floor, knowing it was time to put him to sleep. The Bulls took a gigantic shit on the United Center floor, and now they need to be put down. I can’t say it wasn’t a hell of a ride. They got SIGNIFICANTLY more out of less. No other team had such a depletion of talent on the roster. Yet they kept on fighting until the bitter end. Now it’s time. To put them and all of us out of our Misery. Because last night wasn’t basketball, I don’t know what it was, but it wasn’t basketball.
PS
Silver Lining? At least our players don’t dress like dickheads. So we got that going for us, which is nice.
